Profile
Backend developer working in C# and .NET, currently studying BSc Information Technology at Middlesex University. I take on legacy .NET applications for freelance clients, mostly framework migrations and the authentication and deployment problems that follow them. Alongside that I'm building a multi-tenant workforce management platform on Azure.
Experience
- Picked up a stalled .NET 8 migration on an eleven-project ASP.NET MVC solution: got the application connected to its database and its authentication working on the new stack.
- Moved hundreds of existing user accounts onto ASP.NET Core Identity so they could sign in with their existing passwords, rather than the whole user base being forced through a reset.
- Upgraded an Azure-hosted EF6 application onto .NET 8, running against Azure SQL with Azure AD, and redeployed it through its DevOps pipeline to App Service. Worked without a copy of the database and with access only through scheduled remote sessions, so diagnosis had to be done by reading the code ahead of each window.
- Scoped work in writing before starting, documented every change, and maintained a 5.0 client rating.
Projects
Workforce management platform where companies track employee attendance and work by tasks. Two clock-in methods implemented: a dynamic QR code staff scan to start the day or a break, and NFC stickers in the office running the same flow through a different input. Web app with admin panel plus a companion mobile app. CQRS layering, all data scoped by tenant, xUnit coverage over domain and handler logic. Currently in QA.
Desktop app that writes short narrative scripts through an LLM API, voices them with text-to-speech, composites them over recorded gameplay footage with ffmpeg, and publishes to several YouTube and TikTok accounts. Handles per-account OAuth, scheduling and local persistence. Running two live channels.
Final diploma project, and the codebase I wrote from scratch. Issue tracking and project management with four roles, each with different permissions: administrator, project manager, tester, developer. Separate presentation, services, data and shared layers, with cookie-based authentication, document versioning and PDF reports.
View demo View codeChrome extension for filing legal aid reports on a government portal, where the manual process was slow because of the typing involved. The portal keeps the same input names between reports, so the extension reads the page source and maps values into the fields. Documents are dropped in, an LLM extracts the values and drafts the written sections, and the form is shown for review before submission. Built for my father, a practising lawyer.
